After a rare bacterial infection led to the amputation of both her legs below the knee and some fingers, the Toronto teacher arrived at West Park Healthcare Centre. With the help of her entire care team, Estacion has gotten her life back.
But the journey to this positive frame of mind was arduous and long.
Estacion has achieved "normalcy" again in her life, but her version of normalcy is extraordinary.
